My name is Rain Gu, I graduated from Academy of Art University majoring in Interior Design & Architecture in 2018. I’m currently working at Williams-Sonoma as a Lead Interior Designer. I have completed multiple small and large scale projects in the Bay Area. I’m passionate about interior design, and have strong concepts and a detailing approach. Working at Williams-Sonoma allows me to use my creative, technical skills and emphasize on creating the dream home for my clients.

I think the the best part of Design is connecting with the clients and understanding what their needs are for a space in the most comprehensive way. It’s important to me to specialize and understand how to make every design look personal and go well with combination of colors, materials and finishes. I believe every project has its own story and it’s the role of designer to help make the space more beautiful, comfortable and functional.
